DPDP Compliance

TaskAssist is committed to respecting your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). This page explains how we comply with India’s data protection law, your rights as a data principal, and how you can exercise them.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. TaskAssist is an informational blog that does not require user registration, collect personal data through forms, or maintain a database of individuals. We only process limited, automatically collected data such as IP addresses, browser type, and usage patterns via analytics tools for site functionality and improvement.

  • Right to erasure of your data
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated

How We Comply

TaskAssist complies with the DPDP by:

  • Not collecting or storing any personal data beyond what is necessary for basic website operation
  • Using analytics tools that anonymize user data where possible
  • Providing clear mechanisms for you to exercise your rights

Under the DPDP, the only data we process includes:

  • IP addresses (anonymized where feasible)

  • Cookie identifiers for session management

This data is not linked to any identifiable individual and is used solely for site analytics and performance.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of data is based on legitimate interest under Section 5(2) of the DPDP, as it is necessary for the proper functioning and improvement of our informational website. We do not rely on consent for data collection, as no personal data is knowingly collected from users.
